Mrs.Sara Elizabeth Mitchell;nee Hixenbaugh;age 81 years;of Fairhope;died at her home;September 1;1947;at 5:15 a.m. She was born in Fayette City;August 12;1866;and was a member of the Marion Presbyterian church. She is survived by three sons;Ozzie Mitechll of Fayette City;R.D.;Roy Mitehell of Belle Vernon and E.C.Mitchell of Eldora;four daughters;Mrs.Ida Johnson of Lake Lynn;Pa.;Mrs.Hattie Mclaughlin of Fayette City;R.D.;Emma Williamson of Belle Vernon and Ida Mae Fallet of Belle Vernon;one brother;Jacob Hixenbaugh of Morgantown;thirty-three grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the McCrory Funeral Home. Services will be held there Wednesday;September 3;1947;at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev.George Guest. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon cemetery. George M.McCrory and son are the funeral directors.
