Obituary

George Maksa of 113 First street, Belle Vernon, died in the Charleroi-Monessen hosptial,Wednesday, November 10,1948,at 10:10 p.m.,after a brief illness. He was born in Czechoslovakia,May 12,1887,and had been employed as a tailor for Wolf's Clothing Store in Charleroi.  He was a World War One veteran. He is survived by five daughters,Mrs. Earl C. Dunkerly and Mrs. Thomas Mayernik of Belle Vernon,Joan O.,Evelyn A. and Jean B. Maksa at home;one son,George M. at home and one grandchild. Friends will be received at the Michael A. Melinchak  Home For Funerals.  Interment will take palce in the Belle Vernon Cemetery on November 12,1948,at 3 p.m.  Please omit flowers.  Michael A. Melinchak is the funeral director.
