Mrs. Mary Ann McClure,85,widow of William McClure and one of the oldest residents of Belle Vernon,died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George N. Huss in Lincoln street,Monongahela,Tuesday morning,August 24,1948,at 10:45 o'clock. She had been ill for some time, and following treatment in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital was removed to the Nuss residence seven weeks ago. Mrs. McClure was a life-long resident of the valley town,born in Belle Vernon on May 2,1863. She was a faithful and devoted member of the Christian Church. Surviving are a son,Charles McClure of Belle Vernon,and daughter,Mrs. Hazel Huss;five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr.Nuss died about 30 years ago. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home in Belle Vernon,where services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L.
