William Mason;aged 68 years;died Thursday;May 27;1948;at 11:15 p.m.;at his home;15 Mckee avenue. Death was due to complications. He was formerly employed at the Carnegie-Illinois Steel Company;having retired 17 years ago. Surviving are his wife;Rose;five sisters;Mrs.Rose Cunningham;of Hammond;Ind.;Mrs.Ella Gamble;of Leechburg;Mrs.Elizabeth Hoax;Mrs.Margaret Hagley and Mrs.Clara Parks;all of Apollo. Two brothers;Isaac and George Mason;of Apollo;also survive. Friends are being received at the Check Home for Funerals until Sunday;May 30;1948;when funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Raymond Vincent;of the Baptist Church.
