Charles A. Miller,aged 72 years,413 Henry street, Belle Vernon,died at his home following a lingering illness on Wednesday,December 18,1946 at 12:30 p.m. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nancy Miller,three sons, Hyldren,at home,Joseph and Charles of Belle Vernon;a daughter, Mrs. Ivan Odbert of York Springs;two brothers,Dore of Belle Venron and Thomas of Holidays Cove,W.Va.; a sister, Frances Miller of Monongahela,nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at his late home,where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. P.E. Mundy,assisted by Rev. Herbert Mountan. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L. Melenyzer and Edwin F. Melenyzer,funeral directors in charge.
