George W.Mountsier,age 75 years,of 123 Pearl street,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,August 30,1945,at 5:29 p.m.,after a brief illness. He was a member of the Belle Vernon Methodist Church and the Odd Fellows lodge of Belle Vernon. He was retired,after having been employed for twenty years as janitor of North Belle Vernon schools. He is survived by his wife,Eva Mountsier,two daughters,Mrs.Hugh Dunn,Sr.,and Mrs.James Naccaratoa and one son,Fred Mountsier,all of Belle Vernon,one brother,Clement,of Belle Vernon,three sisters,Mrs.Maude Bowers,of Belle Vernon,Mrs.Henretta Dean,of Kane,Pa.,and Mrs.Lou Corwin of Lancaster,Ohio,and five grandchilren. Friends will be received at the late home until Sunday morning,September 2,when the remains will be taken to the Melenyzer Funeral Home. Services will be held there Sunday,at 2:30 p.m.,in charge of Rev.Frank T.James. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.and Edwin Melenyzer are funeral directors.
