Thomas MacDonald;age 59 years;of 406 Broad avenue;Belle vernon;died at his home;Monday;April 2;1945;at 9:30 a.m.;after a lingering illness. He was a member of the Christian Church;and a resident of Belle Vernon for the past 40 years. He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Bertha MacDonald;three sons;William Bruce in Detroit;Mich.;Thomas at home;and T/S Robert B.in India;six brothers;David;Clarence and Edgar in Detroit;Jock;Jerry and Bruce in New Kensington;two sisters;Mrs.Alice McGiven;Arnold;Mrs.Elizabeth Evans;Valley Heights;and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home until Thursday;April 5;1945;at 11 a.m.;when the body will be taken to the Melenyzer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held there Thursday;April 5;at 2 p.m. Chas.L.nd Edwin Melenyzer are funeral directors.
