Mrs.Grace Pearl Mechem; wife
of Raymond Mechem; died Tuesday afternoon; November 23;1943; at
3:30 o’clock at her home; 401
Market street; Belle Vernon. She
was aged 53 years.
The deceased was a member of
the First Christian Church and
the Patriotic Order of America.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter; Ruth; at home;
and a son; Raymond; Jr.; of Fayette City; three sisters; Mrs.
Goldie Belle; of Clarksburg; Mrs.
Georgia Getz and Mrs. Hazel Hilpert or Bellevue. Two grandchildren also survive.
Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral home until Friday;November 26;1943;at 4 p.m.at which time funeral services will be held in charge of Rev.J.W.Klagas;pastor of the First Christian Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold Toner;funeral director;is in charge of the arrangements.
