Samuel Morton; died Monday;
January 4;1943;at his home; 209 Short
street; Belle Vernon.
Surviving are his wife;Mrs.Elizabeth Warbutton Martin and
five children; Pearl; Vera; Dolores and Robert; all at home;
and Mrs. William Bartha; of
Homestead. Four brothers also survive; Joseph Morton of Blairsville;Private Amos Martin;Charleston;W.Va.;Edward and
John Morton both of Belle Vernon; and a sister; Mrs. Lynwood Patrick;of Charleston;W.Va.
Two grandchildren also survive. Friends are being received at the late home at 209 Short street;Belle Vernon;until time of services Friday;January 8;1943 at 2 p.m. Rev.Edwin G.Sloan is the minister in charge;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.and Edwin Melenyzer are funeral directors.
