Mrs.C.J.Mountsier,aged 54,of 318 Sixth st.,died suddenly Sunday evening January 22,1928,at 7:30,following an attack of heart trouble. The deceased, while not enjoying the best of health for several years, had been about the house as usual until Friday when she was forced to her bed. Her condition was,however,not alarming and Sunday she assumed her household duties and had prepared dinner,following which she again took ill and passed peacefully away several hours later. Mrs.Mountsier was a resident of the community for the past 22 years and led a Christian life,taking active part in all church work at the First Presbyterian Church with which she became affiliated early in life. Kind hearted and sympathetic the children of the vicinity found in her a true friend and annually she gave a party for the younger folks. Besides her husband she is survived by one son,Garrett Mountsier and the following sisters and brothers,Mrs.Addie McPeck,of Pittsburgh,Mrs.G.W.Mountsier,of Belle Venron,Mrs.Ora Smith,of Dunkard,Mrs.William Pandolph,of Scottdale,Mrs.J.D.Miller,of South Brownsville,Walter R.Green,of Ambridge,and Harry M.Green,of Prescott,Ariz. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the home with interment following in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
