Funeral services for John Mallabone,who died in the Mercy Hospital,Pittsburgh at 7:15 a.m.Thursday morning,April 10,1919,will be held from his late home at 137 Fallowfield avenue,Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock conducted by Rev.Huffer of the First Christian Church with interment to follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Mr.Mallabone was born in England,February 4,1855,the son of William Mallabone and Ann Morton Mallabone. In 1876 he was married to Miss Cicely Harrold and in 1882 with his family,came to America,settling at West Elizabeth. In 1903 he moved to Charleroi and continued to reside there until the time of his death. He is survived by his widow,one son,John,Jr.,and six daughters,Mrs.Joseph Kelly of Belle Vernon,Mrs.A.E.Smith and Mrs.L.C.Gabriel of Pittsburgh,Mrs.Jesse Miller of Monessen,Alice at home and Ivy in training at the West Penn Hospital,Pittsburgh. Eight grandchildren also survive him.
