Obituary

William H.Lear,75,of St.Petersburg,Florida,formerly of Monessen died Sunday,November 11,1951,at his home. He resided in Monessen for fifty years,and moved to Florida four years ago. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Knights of Pythins Lodge. He was employed as a locomotive engineer on the Southwestern Railroad in Monessen. He is survived by his wife,Myrtle Lear,three sons,Clyde of Monessen,Ray of Monessen and Earl of Cleveland,Ohio,one brother,Cyrus of Knoxville and two grandsons. Friends will be received Saturday and Sunday at the Melenyzer Funeral Home,262 Donner Avenue,Monessen. Services will be held there Monday,November 19,1951,at 2 p.m.and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin F.Melenyzer is the funeral director.
