William H.Lear;75;of St.Petersburg;Florida;formerly of Monessen died Sunday;November 11;1951;at his home. He resided in Monessen for fifty years;and moved to Florida four years ago. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Knights of Pythins Lodge. He was employed as a locomotive engineer on the Southwestern Railroad in Monessen. He is survived by his wife;Myrtle Lear;three sons;Clyde of Monessen;Ray of Monessen and Earl of Cleveland;Ohio;one brother;Cyrus of Knoxville and two grandsons. Friends will be received Saturday and Sunday at the Melenyzer Funeral Home;262 Donner Avenue;Monessen. Services will be held there Monday;November 19;1951;at 2 p.m.and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin F.Melenyzer is the funeral director.
