Obituary
Henry Lewis, aged 82 years, died Monday, February 28, 1944,at 6:30 a. m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Barbara Zundell, in Belle Vernon, R. D. 2, following a lingering illness. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Christina Lewis, and two daughters, Mrs. Zundell and Mrs. Gertrude Beatty, of Front Royal, Va. The late Dr. George W. Lewis, of Belle Vernon, was a son. A sister, Mrs. John Urwin, and a brother, George Lewis, both of St. Louis, also survive, along with six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends are being at the home of Mrs. Zundel and services will be held there,Wednesday,March 1,1944,at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Crawford M.Coulter,pastor of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church,will be in charge of services and intermet will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the fuenral director.
