Obituary

Mrs.Jessie Douglasa Kenzler,nee McEwen,aged 67 years,414 Market street,Belle Vernon,died Saturday morning,Sept.27,1952,at 9:45 o'clock in Charleroi-Monessen hospital,following an illness of three weeks. The deceased was born in Corning,Ohio,and had been a resident of Belle vernon for the past 35 years. Until her health failed a number of years ago,she was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon,and a member of the Edna Marston Bible Class there. Surviving are her husband,Bruno Kenzler,two daughters,Mrs.George W.(LaVene) Hoffman,Belle Vernon,and Mrs.Harry F.(Bernice) Spencer,Charleroi,a sister,Mrs.Walter Colvin,Sr.,Belle Vernon,R.D.,three brothers,Dave McEwen,Coraopolis,James McEwen,McKees Rocks,and William McEwen,Charleroi,and a granddaughter,Faith Hoffman. Friends are being received this evening,Saturday after 7 o'clock,at the Melenyzer Funeral Home,700 Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Tuesday,Sept.30,at 2 p.m.with Rev.H.Davis and Rev.James C.Puz officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L.Melenyzer,funeral director.
