Stricken ill shortly after arriving at Charleroi High School auditorium Sunday afternoon,March 4,1951,to attend a matinee,Mrs. Mary Kovah,of Roscoe,was pronounced dead on arival at the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital at 4:15 o'clock. She had gone to the high School auditorium to attend a performance of the Passion Play sponsored by the Holy Ghost Greek Rite Catholic Church,when she was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage,the report indicated. The Charleroi ambulance was called when she became ill and removed her to the hospital. Born in Czechoslovakia sixty years ago,she had resided in Roscoe for the past thirty years,movng there from Pittsburgh. Surviving are two sons, Michael of Roscoe and John of Monongahela. One grandchild also survives. Friends will be received at the Francis C. Slezak Funeral Home. Services will be held there Thursday, March 8,1951,at 9 a.m.,followed by additional services at the Holy Ghost Greek Rite Catholic Church,in charge of Rev. Michael Kushner. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C. Slezak is the funeral director.
