George J. Kessler,aged 78 years,died Friday,July 1,1949 at 11:55 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Denzel Horrel,22 Main street, Belle Vernon. Surviving are his wife, Avarilla; a son, Paul in Florida;two daughters, Mrs. Horrell of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Charles Sprouse of California. A brother, James Kessler of Maryland and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Morrison of Latrobe and Mrs. A.R. Keller of Warren, Ohio also survive along with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home in Belle Vernon,where services will be held Tuesday, July 5th at 3 p.m. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L. Melenyzer and Edwin F. Melenyzer,funeral directors in charge of arrangements.
