Michael Kara,aged 57 years,prominent resident of Pricedale,where he was engaged in the grocery business for the past 26 years,died Tuesday, May 20,1947,at 9:35 a.m. in the St. Francis hospital,Pittsburgh. Active in civic affairs, Mr. Kara was a member of the St. Sebastian Church, Belle Vernon;the Board of Trade, Belle Vernon;Hungarian Club,Pricedale and the Moose club, Belle Vernon. Surviving are his wife, Julia;a son, Michael,Jr. at home;three daughters,Mrs. Harry Dodson and Mrs. George Shattuck,both of Washington,D.C. and Isabelle at home. A sister,Mrs. Barbara Komlo of New York also survives.
