Mrs. Catherine Bartek Keracik,aged 54 years, wife of Joseph Keracik,of 399 Vernon Street, North Belle Venron died at 6 o'clock Friday evening,August 15,1941,at the family home in Belle Vernon,after a lingering illness. She had been a resident of Belle Vernon for the past 28 years. Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Miss Mary Keracik,at home;Mrs. William Rowley of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Jack Barcelona of Charleroi;two sons, Joseph,Jr. and John,at home; two sisters, Mrs. Martin Krezan and Mrs. Michael Krosky of Belle Vernon and a brother, John Bartek of Belle Vernon. Friends are being received at the late home,where funeral services will be held Monday,August 18,at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L. and Edwin Melenyzer are the funeral directors.
