John Kofman;aged 63 years;died Saturday afternoon;December 11;1937 at 1:40 o’clock at his late home in the Speers Hill district. He was stricken by a sudden attack of cerebral apoplexy two hours before his death. He had been in good health;previous to the attack. Born July 12;1874;in Czechoslovakia;Mr.Kofman resided at Speer Hill for the past 10 years. He was employed as a janitor at the Allenport plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Company;and was a member of St.Jerome’s Catholic Church of Charleroi. Surviving are his wife;Mary Kofamn;two daughters;Mrs.Mary Cerezo;of Speers;and Miss Victoria Kofman;at home;two sons;William;of Speers;and Joseph of Lynnwood;and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday;December;14;at 9 a.m. in St.Jerome’s Catholic Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
