Obituary

When an auto said to be driven by Matthew Fulton,twelve-year-old grandson of Mr.and Mrs. John Pulani,of 928 Meadow avenue left the street near her home at 813 Crest avenue,Saturday noon,May 5,1928,little Gladys Lorraine Kohut,three-year-old daughter of Mr.and Mrs.Kohut was struck,the car passing over her body. Her death ocurred a half hour later.  Gladys and her little brother had just gone across the street to the store to buy a cake of soap and was on the sidewalk in front of her home when the accident occurred.  Her father,had just gone into the house,thinking his daughter was safely across the street.  The youth was driving a Nash car without permission of the owner,it was said.  Funeral services for little Gladys were held Monday morning,May 7,1928 for the home of her parents,interment being made in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
