John W. Johnson,aged 50 years,Belle Vernon,R.D.2,died Monday morning, Dec. 22,1952,at 3:30 o'clock at his late home. A resident of Rostraver Township for the past 20 years,the deceased served in the armed forces,having been assigned to Co.E.,Second Infantry Division. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sarah McManus Johnson; a son, John,at home;a sister,Mrs. Carl Eckman, of Belle Vernon,R.D.2. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home,626 Broad avenue, Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Wednesday,Dec. 24 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Alva Jardon of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church,Monessen,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,mortician.
