Richard D.Junk;317 Chestnut street;died Thursday;Jan.18;1951;at 3:20 a.m.after a lingering illness. The deceased was employed at the gate shop of the Pittsburgh Steel Company. He was born in Charleroi and came to Monessen in 1936 and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife;Mrs.Lillian Gagatko Junk;a daughter;Nancy Lee;his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Harry C.Junk;Monessen;three brothers;Joseph and Harry Jr.;Monessen and John;Donora;and two sisters;Betty and Beverly Ann Junk;Monessen. Friends will be received at the Check Home for Funerals. Services will be held Monday;January 22;1951;at 2 p.m.in the First Presbyterian Church in Monessen;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon. Joseph R.Clark is the funeral director.
