Mrs.Sara S.Jones;widow of the late William Jones;died at her home in Belle Vernon at 11:30 p.m.;Thursday;Oct.24;1918;aged 88 years. She was born near Belle Vernon January 7;1830 and had lived in Belle Vernon since 1875. In her younger years she was an active social and church worker. She is survived by one daughter;Mrs.E.L.Sears;and one son;Samuel Jones. She was member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the late home of the deceased;interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
