Obituary

Harrison A.Irwin,51,of 519 Broad Avenue,Belle Vernon,died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital,Sunday,June 22,1952,at 7:55 p.m. Mr.Irwin,who was proprietor of the Irwin Flower Shop in Belle Vernon,was a member of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department,and was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. His death was due to injuries sustained in a fall downstairs at his home on June 3. He is survived by his wife,Mrs.Leona Mae irwin,two sons,Glenn Edgar of Lancaster,Pa.,and Harry A.Irwin at home,one daughter,Mrs.Lida Ann Hackenson of Belle Vernon,his mother,Mrs.Harry A.Irwin of Asheville,North Carolina,and one sister,Mrs. Harry Harris of Daytona Beach,Florida. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home,Broad Avenue,Belle Vernon. Services will be held there Wednesday,June 25,1952 at 2 p.m.,with the Rev.George L.Kress of the Belle Vernon Presbyterian Church in charge. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M.McCrory and son are the funeral directors.
