James R. Houseman, age 77. died at his home at 317 Roley street, Belle Vernon,Thursday November 16,1944,at 5 p.m.,after a short illness. He was a pioneer resident of Belle Vernon. He is survived by three sisters,Mrs. Lyda McKinley at home,Mrs.Amanda Whetzel and Mrs. Edith Hall,both of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the late residence and services will be held there Sunday,November 19,1944,at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Herbert G. Mountan will have charge of services and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery, Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
