Leroy P.Honsaker.60,of 326 Meadow avenue,Charleroi,died in his home Saturday night at 10:20 o'clock,October 21,1939,after a long illness. Mr.Honsaker was born in Masontown,Jan.3,1879,a son of William and Mary Harrison Honsaker. He was a member of the Washington Avenue Presbyterian Church,Charleroi, the Charleroi Elks Lodge No.494,and the Southeran Pines F.and A.M.lodge of Southern Pines,N.C. He was manager of a grocery store in Charleroi until last February when his health broke. Surviving are his wife,Joyce Perry Honsaker;one son,Playford,at home;his father,William Honsaker of Uniontown;three brothers,Russell,of New Salem,Arthur,of Fairbanks,and John,of Briar Hill;and two sisters,Miss Nora Honsaker,of Uniontown and Mrs.Walter Christopher,of Uniontown. Friends will be received at the late home until 8 o'clock Tuesday evening. Private interment will be made Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. The Reverend Frank S.Montgomery will officiate. Interment will be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Lawrence B.Frye,funeral director in charge.
