Obituary

Earl R. Gray,of 413 McKean Avenue,Charleroi,died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital, Saturday,November 17,1951,at 9:10 a.m. He was born in Moyer,Pa.,June 27,1895,the son of John F. and Rosa Williams Gray.  He came to Charleroi fifteen years ago from Moyer,and was a member of St. Jerome's Church,and the Eagles lodge.  He was employed as a machinist at the Allenport mill of the Pittsburgh Steel Company. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Desmond Gray,three daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Lynch,Mrs. Margaret Paterline of North Charleroi and Anna Ruth at home;one brother,Omer Gray of West Virginia and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Slezak Funeral Home.  Requiem High Mass will be sung Tuesday,November 20,1951,at 10 a.m. in St. Jerome's Church by Rev. James McKeever.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Francis C. Slezak is the funeral director.
