Miss Velma Mae Gohosky, age 18 years,of Arnold City,Fayette City,R.D.1,died in the Woman's hospital,New York City, Thursday, June 17,1948,at 1:45 p.m. She was born in Washington Township,March 6,1930,and attended Marion high school. She was employed in New York City for the past five weeks. She is survived by her father, Albert Gohosky,her mother, Mrs. Jeannette Gohosky of Owings,West Virginia;her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gohosky,Sr.,and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Redman of Arnold City. Friends will be received at the McCrory Funeral Home. Services will be held there Monday,June 21,1948,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. Yoblonsky of the Polish National Church of Monessen. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.
