After living almost 101 years,the death occurred on Sunday,Feb.22,1920,of Mrs.Nancy Gamiel,at the home of her daughter,Mrs.D.S.Pringle,New Eagle. Mrs.Gamiel was in unusually good health until last week,when she contacted a cold and death quickly followed. She was born March 10,1819,at Dunkard Creek,Greene county,and lived all of her life in this section of Pennsylvania.She was the wife of James Gamiel whose death occurred about 40 years ago and who is buried in the Arlington Nartional Cemetery. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of belle Vernon and is survivd by three daughters, Mrs. David Pringle of New Eagle,with whom she resided, Mrs. Paul Grooms of Brownsville and Mrs. George A. Leclere of Houston, Texas. Grandma Gamiel,as she was familiarly known,has resided in New Eagle for 13 years and in that time has endeared herself to the hearts of the entire community. She was a remarkable woman in every respect,clear of mind,healthy in body and endowed with a true Christian spirit that has ever been a boon to her family and friends. Short funeral services will be held from the Pringle home,Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock. The remains will then be taken to Belle Vernon, services will be held in the First Baptist Church at two o'clock and interment will be made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
