Obituary
Mrs. Lucy Floyd,aged 49 years,965 Schoonmaker avenue,died Saturday,June 7,1952,at 3:30 a.m. upon arrival at the Charleroi-Monessen hospital. The deceased was secretary of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and of the Missionary Society of the church. Surviving are five sons,Wilbert,Jr.,of Monessen,George,with the U.S.Navy,stationed in Philadelphia,Thomas,with the U.S.Army,stationed in Germany,and James and Robert,both at home;two daughters,Mrs. Melissa Hill,of Detroit,Mich.,and Mary,at home. Friends are being received at the Draper Funeral Home,Sixth street. Funeral services will be held Thursday,June 12,at 11 a.m.,from the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,with Rev. William Parker officiating.Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
