Joseph Franek,aged 30 years, died at his late home in 53 Wilson street, North Belle Vernon at 2 o'clock Saturday morning,November 19,1938. He had been ill over a period of eight months and was an employee of the Pittsburgh Steel company. The deceased was born in North Belle Vernon and had spent his entire life in that community. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Philomena Franek; one brother, Adolph Franek of Detroit, Mich.,and three sisters, Mildred, Mary and Anna Franek,all residing in California state. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, November 22,with Requiem High Mass at 9 o'clock in St. Sebastian's Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Father James J. O'Connell will officiate and interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
