Obituary

Samuel Ferguson,aged 53 years,died suddenly Thursday morning,January 24,1935, at his home,952 Donner avenue.  He had been ailing for a number of years,but was at work Sunday as usual at the Pittsburgh Steel company. He was stricken on Monday and steadily grew worse until the end came.  Mr. Ferguson came her thirty years ago from Roscoe when a young man and ever since that time has been in the employ of the Pittsburgh Steel mill. He was well known and highly esteemed. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Ferguson,and three children,Margaret and Wilbur at home and James,a student at St. Vincent's College,Latrobe. Four sisters also survive,Mrs. Margaret Smock,Mrs. Nelle Leonard,Mrs. Jean Smith and Mrs. Olive Feehan.Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10:00 o'clock from the St. Leonard's Church,with Father Owen J. Kirby officiating.  Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
