Mrs. Margaret B. Elliott,of Belle Vernon,died in the West Penn hospial,Pittsburgh,Tuesday evening, September 29,1925,at 6:30 o'clock. Mrs. Elliott was united in marriage to C.T. Elliott on March 19,1896. She is survived by the following children;Mrs. E.A. Eason,of Belle Vernon,Mrs. F.I. Childress,of Isabell,and Margaret,at home. Two sisters,Mrs. Thomas Williams,of Charleroi,and Mrs. Edward Chester,of Dravosburg,also survive. Mrs. Elliott was an active member of the Belle Vernon Chapter No. 196,O.E.S.,having served as its secretary since its organization nine years ago. She was a district deputy of the Daughters of America;was one of the trusteees of the Mothers' Assistance Fund of Fayette county;an active worker in the Belle Vernon M.E Church and was the corresponding secretary of the Women's Foreign Missionary society and an active worker in all community affairs. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Belle Vernon M.E.Church,with the Rev. Mr. Headly officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
