Mrs.Pearl Farley Davenport;aged 32 years;wife of Andrew Davenport;of Speers;died yesterday;May 7; at noon in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;where she has been a patient since last Wednesday. Mrs. Davenport underwent a serious operation last Thursday morning;her condition being critical;ending in her death yesterday. The deceased was very well known. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Farley;her father’s death occurring just six weeks ago and her mother’s a year ago. There survive her husband;two children;Catherine and Charles and one brother;Clyde Farley;of Rachel;W.Va. Funeral services will be held at the late home Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev.Jewell of the Belle Vernon Presbyterian church and the Valley Dawn Sisterhood;Dames of Malta;in charge. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
