Obituary

Mrs.Alfred Dauvin,aged 65,died Friday evening,July 29,1927,at 8:30 in the Memorial hospital at Monongahela City,following a four week illness of complication of disease.  The deceased took ill a month ago and was immediately removed to the hospital,but owing to her advanced age,she gradually grew weaker and peacefully passed away Friday night.  Mrs.Dauvin was born in Belgium and for the past 20 years,had made Monessen her home.  She is survived by four sons,one daughter and seven grandchildren.  The sons are Clem and Joe of Monessen,Amos of Steubenville,Ohio,and Alfred of McKeesport,the daughter being Dena at home.  Two sisters,Mrs.Rosalie Hynes of Charleroi and Mary in Belgium and three brothers,John Penses of Charleroi,Myal Penses and Joseph Penses of McDonald also survive.  Funerl services will be conducted at the late home on Lenawee avenue at 2:30 Monday afternoon in charge of Rev.W.H.Weisheit of the First Christian Church.  Interment will be made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
