Samuel Carney,aged 82 years,California,Pa.,formerly of Allenport,died Sunday, May 6,1951 at 1:20 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mamie Carney;five sons, Brayton of Richeyville, Kenneth of California,Pierce of Cleveland,Ohio,and Arthur and Gerard of Allenport, one daughter, Mrs. Charles A. Roberts of R.D.Monongahela,one sister, Mrs. James Richardson of Sunnyside,14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home,700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held from there Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. with Rev. Norman Young officiating.
