John William Gulp, Sr., aged 67 years, 326 Speer street, Belle Vernon, died Thursday morning, Sept. 21,1950 at 4:25 o'clock in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon. He was employed as an engineer on the P. & L. E. R. R. for the past 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs Ethel Gulp; a son, John William Gulp, Jr., of Monessen; two daughters, Mrs. Michael Segan, of Lynnwood, and Mrs. Gerald Rhodaback, of Belle Vernon; a brother, Lelan Gulp, of Huston, Pa.; and two grandchildren. Friends are being received at the late home. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home,with Rev. P.E. Mundy in charge. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
