Mrs. Anna Costello,61,of 123 Johnson avenue, Pricedale,died in the Mercy hospital,Pittsburgh,Saturday, December 3,1949 at 6:30 p.m. She was born October 14,1888,and was a member of the United Russian Orthodox Brotherhood of America,and the First Catholic Slovak Union of America,both of Monessen. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Costello,two daughters, Mrs. Anna Skurkay and Mrs. Mary Polluck of Pricedale,three brothers, John Pavlick of Pittsburgh,George Pavlick of Hannahstown and Nicholas Pavlick in Europe, one sister, Mrs. Helen Cuschak,also in Europe and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held in the St. John The Divine Church of Monessen,Wednesday, December 7,1949,at 9:15 a.m.,in charge of Rev. John Govrusik. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
