Mrs. Margaret Cowan,aged 58 years,died Friday, May 20,1949,at 7 a.m. at her home,122 Johnson avenue,Pricedale. Surviving are her husband,James Cowan;two daughters,Mrs. Mary Bush,of Pricedale,and Mrs. Janet Patterson at home;four sisters, Mrs. Alex Keenan,of Scotland,Mrs. Joseph Heurich of Pittsburgh,Mrs. Thomas Buchanan of Library,and Mrs. Joseph Demcek of Monongahela; three brothers,Nathaniel Kirk,of DuQuoin,ILL.,Andrew Kirk of Buffalo,Pa.and Robert Kirk of St. Clairsville, Ohio. Two grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the late residence until Monday,May 23,when the remains will be taken to the Pricedale Union Church where services will be held at 2 p.m.,with the Rev. George Guest officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
