Mrs.Elizabeth Carrier;age 54 years;of 118 State street;Belle Vernon;died at her home;Sunday;April 29;1945;at 8 p.m. following an illness of only one day’s duration. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are her husband;William Carrier;a daughter;Mrs.Albert Yoder of West Newton;two sisters;Mrs.Frank Pentz;of Norfolk;Va.;and Mrs.George Edwards;of California;Pa.;six brothers;James Humes of Castle Shannon;Thomas and Robert of Finleyville;John of New Kensington;George of Warren;Ohio and Charles of Baltimore;Md. Four grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Wednesday;May 2;1945;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.J.W.Kluges. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.and Edwin Melenyzer are funeral directors.
