William Carrier,Sr.,died Saturday,June 17,1944,at his home,116 State street,Belle Vernon,after a lingering illness. He is survived by his wife,Mrs.Ada Carrier,and one son,William Carrier,Jr. Friends are being received at his son's home,118 State street,Belle Vernon,until Tuesday,June 20,1944,at 2 p.m.when funeral services will be held in charge of Rev.J.W.Klages,of the Christian Church. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L.Melenyzer and Edwin F.Melenyzer,funeral directors,in charge.
