Funeral services for Mrs. Hannah J. Chalfant, 83 years old, who died Friday evening, Jan. 4, 1935, at her home, 323 Grant Street, Belle Vernon, from complications due to old age, will be held from the home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. She has been a resident of Belle Vernon for 40 years. She is survived by one brother, Ellis McCormick, of Youngstown, 0.; a son, Judson Chalfant, of Speers, and two step-daughters, Maggie Waggoner of Charleroi and Belle Abbott of California State. Rev. McCullough, pastor of the Baptist Church of which she was a member, will have charge of the services. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
