Jesse Crowthers,aged 77 years,who for the past fifty years has been a resident of the Monongahela valley,died Wednesday morning,April 21,1926,at 10 o'clock at the home of Mr.and Mrs. Frank Haywood,of Dunlevy,with whom he made his home. Mr. Crowthers,who was familiarly known as "Little Jackie",followed the trade of coal mining all his life. Fifty years ago he came from Durham county,England,where he was born,and made his home with the Linn family since taking up his residence there. Mrs. Haywood is a member of the Lynn family. He has no known relatives surviving. He died following an illness of two weeks due to the infirmities of old age. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Haywood home. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
