The body of ALbert Carnes,who died Friday morning,December 26,1924,in the McKeesport hospital following an illness of six weeks' duration was brought to the home of his mother,Mrs.Margaret Carnes of Monessen,on Saturday,December 27,awaiting the funeral services scheduled for Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The young man was 33 years of age and a veteran of the World War. He is survived by his wife,Mary and five year old daughter,Dorothy,one brother,Charles,and one sister,Mrs.Mary Scales. He was well and favorably known in Monessen and was employed as a driver for the Motz Lumber Co. He was a member of the Thomas McKee Post of the American Legion and will be buried with full military honors. Following the funeral service which will be held from the home of his mother who resides on the Brewery hill road,the body will be taken to Belle Vernon Cemetery for interment.
