Mrs. Mary D.Brown,aged 73 years,668 Third street,died Sunday,September 17,1950 at 4 p.m.in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital,following a short illness. She is survived by the following children: Mrs.Lillian Huffine,with whom she made her home,Mrs.Wesley Brown,of Buckingham County,Virgina,Eddie Brown,of Baltimore,Md.,Mrs.Sadie McDonald and Mrs.Alice Washington,of Richmond,Va.;three sisters,Mrs.Martha Young,Mrs.Rose Burham and Mrs.Willis Henderson,all of Richmond;17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends are being received at the late residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from the Union Baptist Church,with Rev.H.A.S.Cooke officiating.
