Benjamin W. Boyer,aged 69 years,623 Reed avenue,died Sunday, August 21,1949 at 7:26 p.m. at his home. He had been an employee of the Pittsburgh Steel Co. for over 40 years. He is survived by his widow,Mrs. Jessie Boyer;two sisters,Mrs. Vernon Taylor of Freeport,Ill.,and Mrs.J.C. Rowland of Cleveland;two half-sisters,Mrs. Bess Nevel and Mrs. Anna Donahue of Twilight. Friends are being received at the Harper Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. Erb,pastor of the First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harry G. Harper,funeral director in charge.
