Harry F.Baker;a resident of Monessen for the past 27 years;died Tuesday;March 5;1946;at 10:30 a.m.;at his home;938 Knox avenue.  He was a painter by trade.  Surviving are his wife;Mrs.Julia Baker;a son;Francis;and daughter;Mrs.Jack Baker.  S sister;Mrs.Charles Crowe;of Monessen;four brothers;Earl and Ralph;of Monessen;Oscar of Long Branch Borough;Pa.;and Louis;of North Charleroi;also survive;along with four grandchildren.  friends are being received at the Check Funeral home;where services will be held at 8:15 a.m.Friday;March 8;1946;with additional services at 9 o’clock at the St.Leonard’s Church;with Father Kirby officiating.  Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Joseph R.Check;funeral director.
