Death came to Mrs. Annie Beatty, wife of Milton Beatty at her home on Water street, Belle Vernon at 2:25 Saturday morning,September 13,1941 following a lingering illness. Born and reared in Belle Vernon, she had a large following of friends. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving is her husband, Milton Beatty, a daughter, Mrs. Forest Doyle of Lock Four, and three sons, Carlysle Beatty, Charleroi, Milton Beatty, Jr., Monessen and Derwood Beatty, at home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home with Rev. H. F. Pierce, pastor of the Belle Vernon Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
