Obituary

John E.Barron, a resident of Jeannette for the past 15 years,died Sunday morning at 11 o'clock in the Westmoreland hospital following an illness of 10 weeks,aged 53 years. He had been a patient in the hospital for three weeks. Mr. Barron was a member of the Baptist Church,the Masonic fraternity,Knights Templar,Bellevernon Lodge of Odd Fellows and the Jeannette Acacia club. He worked at his trade as glass cutter for many years but recently had been manager of a Butler store at Arlington. Surviving are his widow and one uncle,John Courtney of Belle Vernon. The body was brought to the home of Mr.and Mrs. E.W.Copper,No.1 Magee avenue,where it will remain until Tuesday morning when it will be removed to his former home in Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of Mrs.Baron's brother-in-law,L.W.Corwin,531 Speer street,Belle Vernon. The interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
