Obituary

Charles A.Beazell,a prominent resident and business man of Belle Vernon,died very suddenly at his home Thursday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock,from a stroke of paralysis. Mr.Beazell had suffered from a stroke some time previously, and on Thursday as additional attack proved fatal. Previous to this last stroke,Mr.Beazell had been indisposed for a few days. He was born in Belle Vernon,Jan.16,1863,the son of the late John and Jane P.Beazell,and lived in that community all his life. At the time of his death he was engaged in the plumbing business. He was married September 6,1900,to Miss Rose Chalfant,of Grindstone,and to them three children were born,Kenneth,Ella and Louise. Besides his widow and children he is survived by three brothers,W.H.in Warrensburg,MO.,R.M. and H.N. of Belle Vernon,and two sisters,Mrs.W.S.Harvey,and Miss Alberta Beazell,of Belle Vernon. Mr.Beazell was a member of the board of health,and the civic league of Belle Vernon,and of the Belle Vernon Lodge of Masons. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock,from the Methodist church,in charge of Rev.J.B.Taylor,after which the Masonic burial rites will be accorded the deceased. Interment will be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
